About the Opportunity
Greck currently has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales Development Representative to join our team in Woodbridge, Ontario on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role with work from home on certain days, which can be negotiated with the right candidate.
The successful candidate will help us grow the civil engineering industry in Ontario by selling engineering services to assist in the design of Industrial, Commercial, Institutional (ICI) and Multi-Residential (Multi-Residential) buildings. Our SDR will develop prospects daily and generate meeting opportunities. As part of this role, you will qualify and evaluate potential customers, solicit, understand client needs, and organize internal sales meetings. In addition to managing staff, you may participate in industry or association events, attend trade shows, and network.
While no days will be the same, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Developing a strong understanding of the company’s services and approach
- Proactively networking and representing the company in a professional manner through cold calling, phone calls, and email
- Establishing and maintaining client databases, overseeing the development of accounts, and assessing client needs
- Building a funnel of potential clients and establishing long-term relationships to drive future sales
- Performing market research on the competitive landscape and understanding industry needs and trends
- Assisting with the development of marketing tools and deliverables
More About You
In order to qualify for this role, you will need 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in an office or corporate setting. An understanding of civil engineering and its role in land development (land developers, builders, planners, and architects) is a strong asset.

We do not require previous engineering experience. However, we do require that you are open to learning our business as well as how to develop and expand your outside sales skills. This will be accomplished by coaching and motivation from our senior staff.
